Specializing in telematics solutions for mobile order management
From the very beginning, as a telematics provider, TIS GmbH focused on combining specialist knowledge, solid industry experience and a passion for pioneering technologies. The combination convinced: The medium-sized family business developed into the technology leader in the field of radio communication.
Founded in 1985 by Josef Bielefeld as TIS Technische Informationssysteme GmbH, Markus Vinke has been managing the company since 2016 as managing director. He knows the company and its customers from the bottom up: A good 20 years ago he started as a qualified engineer for electrical engineering at TIS, first gathered experience as a software developer and project manager, then took over the management of software development in 2012 - and eventually the management.
Since July 2023 Markus Vinke and Fabian Bielefeld share the management board. Fabian Bielefeld is the son of the founder Josef Bielefeld and works for TIS since 2010. He worked in different departments of the company and is now a managing director and head of sales.
The TIS history as a family business is written deeply into the DNA of the medium-sized innovation leader: the atmosphere in the company is familiar, everyone works together on the success of customer projects and is responsible for one another.
Innovation and a strong team
The work of the 100 employees is characterized by their enthusiasm for technology, awareness to be among the innovation leaders in the industry - and the will to find 100% practical and economical solutions for the daily challenges of customers. Every single TISSI is excellently trained, knows the industry from scratch - and knows the specific challenges that the field of logistics entails. This is the reason why all TIS products and solutions are so suitable for everyday use.
Pioneer spirit & visions
We are real team players: Within the logistics industry we are networking internationally and maintain active partnerships with well-known manufacturers in order to be able to offer innovative complete solutions for our customers. At the same time, we ensure active knowledge transfer between science and practice through cooperation with universities and the InnoCent start-up center. Our development teams do everything in their power to rethink innovative telematics solutions - and to implement them successfully in customer projects. Thanks to an ever-growing TISLOG community, we can access the input of very different operational scenarios, identify trends faster and incorporate them into the development work of our products.
Our software is currently used in 60,000 active devices (in vehicles).
